The Economic Impact of the November Election

Join Dale Kooyenga, President and CEO of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC), for a discussion on how the federal and state elections could affect your business and the broader economy in 2027 and beyond. Dale will share insights from political and business leaders across Wisconsin and explain how companies can benefit from a new educational tax credit scholarship designed to strengthen the talent pipeline, engage employees, and enhance your company's community presence and recognition.

Speaker: Dale Kooyenga, President and CEO of the MMAC

Dale has served as President and CEO of MMAC for three years. A CPA with more than 25 years of experience, Dale's background spans public accounting, private equity, early-stage companies, and startups. Dale also served eight years in the Wisconsin State Assembly and four years in the Wisconsin State Senate. Currently a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, Dale earned a Bronze Star for service in Iraq and recently completed an assignment on the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

For more than 160 years, MMAC has advocated for businesses across southeastern Wisconsin and today represents more than 2,000 companies. MMAC also houses Milwaukee 7, which recruits companies from around the world to invest in the Milwaukee 7 region. The MMAC vision is to support a globally competitive region that fosters high-value employment to sustain a vibrant quality of life for all.
