HOW FINANCIAL FIRMS ARE NAVIGATING POST COVID-19


What will the workforce look like post-pandemic, looking at hybrid working models. We will also discuss concepts of different generational preferences in the workforce and imperative upskilling for financial firms. 

Julia Lamm, Principal, Global Workforce Strategy Leader, PwC US

Julia is a Partner in PwC‘s Financial Services People & Organization practice, based in New York. She has more than 15 years of experience helping clients address complex organization transformation challenges, driven by disruption from digitization, regulation, deals, business model changes and cost pressures. Her experience includes: Workforce strategy and planning, operating model and organization design, HR strategy and transformation, talent strategy and process design, HR technology strategy and implementation, change management and culture change, and program/project management.

Julia leads PwC’s ‘workforce strategy’ global service offering, which encompasses talent processes ranging from workforce planning to recruiting, talent management, performance management, diversity and inclusion, learning and succession planning. She focuses her work on redesigning organizations to optimize workforce productivity, and she has been a leader in the development of PwC’s point of view on the workforce of the future and how financial institutions are responding post-COVID. Julia has an MBA from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business, where she specialized in Corporate Finance and Strategy. She has a BA from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where she double majored in journalism and international studies. Prior to joining PwC, she worked in public relations advising clients on their corporate, product and crisis communications strategies.
