BLOCKCHAIN: THE FUTURE OF FINANCE?

Steve Anderson, Advisor of Decibel.LIVE

Steve Anderson is a pragmatic futurist and early adopter of Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. He has been a technology generalist for 20 years. He is co-founder of "The Blockchain Show" podcast, an advisor for noise and air quality blockchain monitoring startup Decibel.LIVE, and CTO for a project in stealth mode. He is a champion of projects that advance the blockchain revolution and promotes widespread adoption of distributed ledger technologies 

Join us as Steve takes us from the Isle of Yap in 500 AD through the introduction of Bitcoin in 2008 to blockchain's present state of affairs in relations to finance, with a glimpse into the future of finance with blockchain. We will look at some differences and similarities with cryptocurrency markets and traditional markets, as well as talk about the exciting proofs of concepts in development today.

Networking 11:30am - 12:00pm, Presentation & Lunch 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Lunch will include salad, your choice of three entrée options (selected during registration process), two family-style side dishes, and dessert
