The Senior Treasury Analyst contributes to the company’s day-to-day financial activities and responsibilities under the direction of the Vice President and Treasurer.  Responsibilities will include both daily and project based activities in the areas of cash forecasting, liquidity management, banking, insurance and risk management, debt compliance and other related activities as designated. The Senior Treasury Analyst has more global responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Compile and analyze financial information to meet monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements

Establish and report daily global cash and debt position for Generac and its subsidiaries; contribute to the global cash management strategy

Prepare/update short term cash forecast for Generac; review and consolidate subsidiary cash forecasts into consolidated global cash forecast and free cash flow tracking; review and analyze cash flow trends and forecast variances and provide recommendations for overall improvements

Administer and manage domestic and foreign cash pooling program

Assist in monitoring and management of the company’s debt, covenant compliance, interest expense and preparation of required reporting

Manage bank relationships, assist with development of cash management banking solutions for all business segments and banking systems administrator

Preparation of management reports for treasury and credit functions

Assist with insurance and risk management activities including reporting, renewals and claims management

Collaborate with others within the organization on cross-functional objectives

Performs monthly account analysis of bank fees for accuracy and identifies cost saving opportunities

Manage and track investments and borrowings, makes short term borrowing and investing recommendations

BI expert for Finance department

Identify and implement process improvements, efficiencies, and cost reduction activities

Assist with SEC reporting, various external audits, and annual budget process

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

5 years treasury experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience at a publicly-traded company

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) Certification

Manufacturing industry experience

Global experience

SAP Experience

Previous experience with cash management, cash forecasting, insurance, and risk management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Capacity to perform detailed analysis while understanding the big picture

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products

Ability to work well as a team and independently

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.  The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.  The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
